How to Make the Creamiest Smoothie Ever

Create a creamy smoothie you’ll look forward to.

View recipe

Mango Delight is one of my all-time favourite smoothies — creamy, naturally sweet, and incredibly nourishing. In this video, I’ll show you exactly how to make it, along with my favourite tips for creating the perfect smoothie every time.

A few things to remember

  • Choose ripe fruit for natural sweetness — if it smells sweet, it’s usually ripe.
  • Freeze ripe bananas and add them at the end for the creamiest texture.
  • If using ice or frozen bananas, add them after everything else has blended. This prevents the coconut oil from hardening and keeps your smoothie silky smooth.
  • In colder weather, use less ice and fewer frozen bananas.

Mango Delight — Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe mango, peeled and chopped
  • A 3 cm knob of ginger, peeled and chopped
  • A handful of greens (spinach, kale, beetroot leaves, or fresh mint)
  • 1 tbsp virgin coconut oil (if solid, melt in a little boiling water)
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp My Daily Superfood Blend
  • A little water — only if needed
  • 1 tbsp honey or a couple of dates (optional — add after tasting if you need extra sweetness)

Directions

Blend the ingredients together. Once everything is blended, add frozen bananas and/or ice and blend again until thick and creamy.

Pour into a tall glass, use a long spoon, and enjoy!

Very Berry Chia Smoothie

A delicious way to enjoy berries, chia and your daily blend.

View recipe

This is one of my favourite smoothies — it’s so simple, delicious, and packed with goodness!

Berries are rich in antioxidants, fibre, vitamins, and minerals, making this smoothie a wonderful way to nourish your body while tasting delicious.

Very Berry Chia Smoothie — Recipe

Start with a large smoothie glass or jar to make sure you have enough room for everything.

In your smoothie glass

  • ½ cup yoghurt of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

Mix together and let it sit while you make the smoothie.

In the blender

  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil (melt it first if solid)
  • 1 tablespoon My Daily Superfood Blend
  • Little or no water — only if needed

Blend until smooth. Then add ½ cup frozen mixed berries and blend again until the berries are combined.

Tips

Add the frozen berries after blending in the coconut oil. If you add them first, the cold berries will harden the coconut oil, making the smoothie less creamy.

In colder weather, don’t add too much ice or frozen fruit, as your smoothie may become too cold. Add just enough to make it creamy.

Optional, for extra sweetness

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • A handful of sweet grapes
  • A couple of dates

Pour the smoothie into your glass with the chia and yoghurt and stir. Watch the beautiful white and purple colours mix together. It’s as pretty as it is delicious!

Grab a long spoon, take a moment to savour every bite, and enjoy!
